Join us for the Circle of Strength: SAAM Summit & SAAM Self Defense Seminar, a transformative event designed to raise awareness, provide education, and foster healing within our communities. Hosted by the Healing Native Hearts Coalition (HNHC), this summit is an essential part of our mission to combat domestic violence (DV), sexual assault (SA), dating violence, sex trafficking, and stalking, particularly within the Native communities of Interior Alaska.
Since its founding in February 2016, HNHC has been a steadfast advocate for the 42 Interior Alaska Native villages, working in close collaboration with Tribal entities to create safer, stronger, and more resilient environments for Native families. As part of this mission, we are proud to bring together local education presenters who will share critical information and resources on domestic violence, sexual assault, and the importance of healthy relationships. Through these engaging presentations, we aim to equip individuals with the knowledge and tools they need for healing, empowerment, and personal growth.
This summit is more than just a series of talks — it’s an opportunity for reflection, connection, and collective action. Together, we can build a Circle of Strength that breaks the cycles of violence and creates a future of safety, healing, and empowerment for all individuals, families, and communities.
