Breastfeeding and Chestfeeding Support Program

Chestfeeding is an alternate term for lactating individuals that prefer not to use the term breast when referring to their own bodies. Breastfeeding is used to describe the action of human milk feeding by any method. The term breastfeeding includes and may be used interchangeably with chestfeeding.

Through RCPC’s Family Services Program, chestfeeding parents can receive education and may be eligible to receive a manual pump or hospital-grade electric pump to help support chestfeeding and protect milk supply through critical periods and to help reach individual goals. Electric pump availability is limited and based on priority. Call RCPC at 907-456-9054 for more information about our pump loan program, personal pump program and pump policy.
