RCPC has a terrific resource, the "Ma" Poole Lending Library which consists of a wide variety books, brochures, reproducible articles, and videos for the public. Please stop by our office, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, to browse our selections.

 

Listen, Talk, and Play with your child to develop healthy brain development and add a brighter future for your child.  You can call the Alaska Parent Line, 1.800.643.KIDS, (1-800-643-5431) to talk to someone about your parenting questions.

Alaska Children's Trust - Alaska Parent Line — Help your child develop by listening, talking

and playing with your child.

Prevent Child Abuse America —Help us to prevent child abuse and give all kids in America the

opportunity to thrive.

AKInfo — This state site connects Alaskans seeking state services like child care referral or

assistance, food stamps, Denali Kid Care, heating assistance and more.

Pacer Kids Against Bullying —A bullying prevention website from teens from parents and

professionals. Includes games, contests, and kid comments.
Parents Place — A great site about pregnancy and parenting with emphasis on info about

toddlers and infants. Check out the "Tool Kit!"
Family Education — Developed entirely for parents. This site features grade-by-grade info,

ideas from parents, expert advice and activities.
Fairbanks North Star Borough School District — From this site you can access info about

calendar events sponsored by the School District as well as links to individual school

homepages.

A Father's Checklist for Baby Proofing Your Home  — As your child grows up, it means

providing supervision and a safe and healthy environment.  This website features

information to help fathers take those important steps.
State of Alaska Online — This webpage, created by State of Alaska Online, provides links to

child resources in Alaska.
State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services — A comprehensive list of programs

available from the Office of Children's Services
