For
many years RCPC has partnered with the State of Alaska's Office of Children's
Services (OCS) to prevent the out of home placement of children and to
reunify families with children within state custody, while at the same
time ensuring the safety of children with these families by providing
a comprehensive parenting and family function. All families must be referred
by
the State of Alaska's OCS office to access RCPC's Family Services.
Supervised Visitation (SV)
Services
-
Families in this program must have an active or open OCS case.
-
The SV program facilitates safe and appropriate visits between parents
and children removed from their home. Observation-based parent-child
interaction education is provided by Family Support Services staff to
parents in the SV program.
